Knights of Code

Erik has been coaching and we have been hosting the Knights of Code Robotics team at our home 2-3 times a week for the last several months.  On Saturday, they participated in the Western PA Grand Championship First Lego League competition.  All season long, they have been learning programming, building robots and contraptions to complete missions on the table, researching and sharing their findings about electronics recycling and working and problem solving as a team.  It has been amazing to see their growth and progress!
Out of 73 teams in the competition, Knights of Code came in 2nd place for their project presentation on electronics recycling and 10th place for their robot performance.  This is a new, young team and we are looking forward to seeing all that they continue to learn together.  We are so proud of them!!!
Our dining room has gone from the kid's playroom to the Lego Robotics room!
