1st piano recital

Elaina had her first piano recital this afternoon.  She was so nervous, but got up there bravely and did a wonderful job!

Owen was off with his buddies this year, so I didn't get a picture with all 3 until a few days later.  Batgirl wasn't too happy about having to get dressed up for a staged picture!!

90th Birthday!!

We spent a very special time in NY celebrating Gramma Brooks' 90th birthday.  It was wonderful to have so much of the family together!

No gifts allowed, but the kids enjoyed making cards and decorating pumpkins for her to decorate with!

Audrey's Birthday

We had a fun weekend celebrating Audrey's birthday.  She took 4 kids to Build-a-Bear and we had a party with family here at home.

Back to School

Off to her first year of full-day school.  Exciting for her, rough for Mommy!!

Zoo!

Summer 2015 was a blast.  We got to do so many different things, but the day before school started we went to the zoo because we hadn't made it there yet.  Every time we go, a different animal puts on a great show for us.  This time we got to see the baby elephant getting a bath, watched the cheetahs chasing each other and saw a funny polar bear dance!

Family Hike

We had a terrific afternoon hiking at McConnell's Mill State Park the weekend before school started.  It was a short hike, but we spent a long time on the trail while the kids climbed fallen tree trunks and all over the rocks around the creek.

Kalahari

We had fun at the water park with the Anderson side of the family a week later!  Owen and Elaina went on every water ride they could.  It was crazy and wet and fun!!
