Cupcakes

The girls had fun helping me bake these rainbow cupcakes for St. Patrick's Day:

Audrey's 2nd full sentence was "I want cake!" when when she was just over a year old.  She'll eat any kind of cake you put in front of her, but she was especially excited about the whip cream "cloud" on top of the rainbow.

Although Horton Hatches the Egg is my favorite Dr. Suess story, Bartholomew and the Oobleck makes an ooey, gooey, FUN activity.  In honor of Dr. Suess' birthday:

As hard as it is to be moving out of the baby stage and into a whole new world of "bigger" kids, it does have its advantages.  My mom was right when she said that everything is a stage that passes so quickly, so enjoy each one.  Here's the sweet surprise I found the other day when I went down to the basement to clean up:
