Christmas Tree

We found a nice place to cut our own Christmas tree this year!  The last time we did this was in Colorado with my parents, so we were happy to have them along for the adventure again.

This was our family at the very sunny, sparse CO Christmas Tree Farm in 2006

Here we are in 2010.  There are lots more trees to choose from here!

Our Pilgrim Boy

Owen had a Thanksgiving Feast/Celebration at his school on Wednesday.  The kids got to choose whether to dress up as Pilgrims or Indians.  I think he makes an adorable pilgrim!

Audrey's songs

Audrey loves to sing.  She has many songs that she knows the words to and sings regularly, but she also likes to make up her own songs to familiar tunes.  Here's an example: listen for "I see a bug" a "little snake" and then the bug is all gone but apparently says "oink, oink."  At the end she is singing about playing outside on the grass.  It's hard to get her to keep singing once she sees the camera, so I got this one on the monitor.
