Kindergartener

I can't believe our youngest is only a Kindergartener for 3 more days!!

She lost her first tooth!!

Field day at school was cold but fun!

Tug of war was her favorite!

Erik and I took her out to lunch and to Build-a-Bear to help celebrate a great first full year of school!

Daddy/Daughter weekend

Erik and the girls enjoyed a weekend at Deer Valley with the Indian Princesses.

Elaina has discovered a new love....

Not so much for Audrey- she enjoyed brushing the horse, though!

Elaina always loves the zip line!

Good fun with some good friends!!

Hiking up Mt. Davis

They made it to the highest point in PA!!

Always a favorite on any trip!!

I enjoyed my weekend with Owen too- hiking, a trip to Phipps (saw this amazing Luna Moth just out of it's chrysalis!), Chick Fil'A and a fun movie!

1st Recital!

Audrey had her first recital last week and did a fantastic job!  It was her first time on stage and we learned that she is quite the performer.  She knew her routine, looked at the audience, stayed with the beat and the first thing she said to me afterwards was, "Mom, I loved being up on that stage!"  Beautiful dancing, beautiful girl!!

She was ready to go!!

The whole week before the recital she kept asking me, "Can I get flowers after my dance show?"  She's been paying attention to her sister's recitals all of these years and didn't forget!

It was an extra special show since her cousins Molly and Norah were also in the show!!

We all enjoyed watching her dance, but Elaina especially enjoyed being in the audience this time.  It was her first time to watch a dance recital instead of waiting in the back!

She loves dancing and playing with her friend Megan!

Spelling Bee

We are very proud of Owen and his accomplishment in the school Spelling Bee this week!  Here is a copy from his teacher's website.  Great job, Owen!! :-)

There is no spelling after this week. Congrats to our 6 final contestants in the Spelling Bee. Our biome did not win the trophy this year. However, Owen Anderson placed 4th out of 200 spellers. We are proud of him for taking home a ribbon. It is a great experience for all the kids to be under that kind of pressure in front of a large group and spell your best. It was a very nice event for everyone.

Fun Stuff!

Audrey has loved her 1st year of dance- she loves sharing it with her favorite doll, too!

Elaina continues to enjoy ballet and jazz!

Watch out for these guys.... just advanced up to the next belt levels!

Our happy "Bubble Gum Girl"

Our whole family ran the Superhero 5K as a finale to the 2nd grade Superhero unit and to benefit abused kids.

April

Elaina and I went to Columbus for an overnight and visit to the American Girl store.  We stayed in a hotel with a friend and her mom and enjoyed dinner out, lots of time in the pool and made some great memories!

Sill loves to decorate eggs but doesn't want to eat them in the shell this year!

Cold day with the Easter Bunny!

Easter egg hunt with the cousins

Love this walk to the bus stop!

March

I still have one who likes to get herself and her stuffed animals decked out for St. Patrick's Day!

We had shamrock pretzels for dinner

and rainbow cupcakes for dessert this St. Patty's Day!

We get pretty stir crazy in March so I decided to make a big deal of this once in a century day:
Pie Day:  3.14.15
Celebrated with Pizza pie and Oreo pie
